Bassoonists who are interested in studying at the Berne University of the Arts are warmly invited to attend a workshop in Berne from

  • BA Music, Classical, duration: 6 semesters

Proof of basic German or French skills required at the end of first semester

A high level of proficiency in German or French is recommended

Next audition planned in Spring, 2009

Scholarships for 800EUR monthly are awarded for the duration of two years. Maximum age at the time of the audition is 25. The bassoon student plays in no more than three programmes every two months during the concert season. Each programme is usually rehearsed for three days with two or three concert performances. The student has regular solo performance opportunities and audition training.
